Kelly Fishman, DVM, CVA, CCRT is part of the Redwood City Physical Rehabilitation team. Kelly received her B.A. in Environmental Sciences from UC Berkeley in 2002, and earned her DVM degree at Ross University in St. Kitts in 2014.

She was introduced to acupuncture during veterinary school when she witnessed an entire room of cats subdued after receiving acupuncture treatments. After that Kelly started the International Veterinary Pain Management club and learned about other ways to manage pain and improve mobility, including physical rehabilitation. After veterinary school, she completed an Integrative Medicine internship at the University of Florida with a focus on physical rehabilitation and nutrition.

Kelly has focused her physical rehabilitation work on dogs with mobility issues secondary to orthopedic, neurologic and post-surgery conditions. She is interested in regenerative medicine including platelet-rich plasma and stem cell therapies.

Kelly’s hobbies include yoga and cooking. She has three kitties (Oliver, Sophia and Nelson) and loves San Francisco and the Bay Area.
